KSCA releases seventh girls' soccer rankings

St. Thomas Aquinas and Bishop Carroll squared off over the weekend, a battle of two of the state’s best teams. Aquinas came away victorious in a 1-0 overtime win. That win sent them up the all-class ranks two spots to No. 4 and it bumped Carroll to No. 5. The two teams traded spots in the 5A ranks. It was Carroll’s first loss of the season.

Shawnee Mission West was unranked last week and now sits at No. 6 and Blue Valley Northwest fell to No. 8 in this week’s rankings. No change took place in the 4-1A rankings.
