WICHITA, Kan.—
All of the No. 1 teams remained the same in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association's final statewide basketball rankings before break. There were some changes in the teams that follow the top spots though. The complete rankings are below with the changes.Class 6A
The boys saw no changes in Class 6A, but the girls saw Maize tumble from No. 2 to No. 7 in the rankings after a loss last week. Washburn Rural dropped off of the tail end of the rankings to allow Blue Valley Northwest to sneak in at No. 10.

The top three for the boys remained the same with Kansas City Washington falling from No. 4 to No. 8. Bishop Carroll dropped from the rankings and allowed Kapaun into the rankings at No. 10. On the girls' side, Carroll and Andover were the big tumblers of the week as Andover dropped from No. 3 to No. 6 and Carroll fell from No. 2 to No. 5. Kapaun made a big move up the board from No. 7 to No. 4. In the last two weeks, the Lady Crusaders have moved up from No. 10 to No. 4.

McPherson was the big change for the boys in Class 4A. The Bullpups were ripped by Class 5A No. 2 Andover Central last Friday and fell from No. 3 to No. 10 as a result. Abilene, Andale, Osawatomie and Bonner Springs all are newly ranked on the girls' side this week as Hesston, Pratt, Wellington and Basehor-Linwood all dropped from the rankings this week.
