Hays caught a break to end the third, but Alex Meyer gets the ball right back for Carroll with an interception on the Indians' first play of the fourth quarter.

Liberal will be playing for back-to-back titles after taking out Harmon 1-0.
5A: Bishop Miege 4, Kapaun 1 -- Final
With a 4-1 win over Kapaun, the Stags will have a shot at defending champion Liberal in the state title game. Kapaun and Kansas City Harmon will square off for third place.
4-1A: Topeka Hayden 2, KC Christian 0 -- Final
Hayden knocked off the defending state champion in the semifinals to advance to the championship game.
4-1A: Tonganoxie 3, McPherson 1 -- Final
With a 3-1 win over McPherson, Tonganoxie will face Hayden in the state championship game. McPherson and Kansas City Christan will play for third place.
