It's hard to believe the halfway point of the football season is already here, but it's obvious by the calendar, and also the fact that teams are starting to separate themselves in league races.
The biggest mover in this weeks poll came in 6A & 4A. In 6A, Shawnee Mission East was previously ranked #5, but knocked off #2 Olathe South in a 3-0 game which propelled East to #3, and dropped South to #5.
Buhler fell to #3 last week in the 4A poll, and another loss this past week dropped them out of the polls. McPherson was the victor this week against the Crusaders, and that win propelled them into the #5 spot.
For the fourth straight week, all five 3A teams won, and those rankings have not changed since the preseason poll.
