The fall postseason is officially upon us as regional tennis winners have punched their ticket to their respective state tournaments which get underway this Friday.
The Class 6A State Tournament will be held at the Riverside Tennis Complex in Wichita, while class 5A will be held at Goddard High School. The Walter Blake Tennis Complex in Pratt will host the Class 4A tournament and 3-2-1A action will be played at Dodge City High School. All state action begins on October 14.
Weather played a factor in this season's regional action. Regionals hosted by Garden City (6A), Kapaun (5A), Salina Central (5A), Abilene (4A) and Hesston (4A) had all, or most rounds postponed until Monday.
