Naomi Rosales’ 29 points for North wasn’t enough for the Lady Redskins in its 71-50 loss to Kapaun. Sam Bachroch dropped 19 points to lead the Lady Crusaders in the win. East took care of business against Northwest 46-37. East’s Ceyaira Washington scored 18 points in the win to lead all players. 6A No. 1 Heights dominated South 57-28 to extend its win streak to 42 games. Southeast jumped out to a 35-12 halftime lead and didn’t look back in its 61-38 tearing of West.

6A No. 3 Maize showed reason for the high ranking in its 68-28 stomp of Campus. Hutchinson slid past a much-improved Derby squad 49-40. 5A top-ranked Salina Central took down Newton 48-45.

5A No. 4 Andover met cross-town rival and 5A No. 9 Andover Central Friday and came away with a convincing 52-35. Valley Center ran past Ark City 46-26. 4A No. 2 McPherson crushed Goddard Eisenhower 67-22 after jumping out to a 37-11 halftime lead.

Buhler nearly doubled-up Winfield 50-29. Rose Hill overwhelmed El Dorado 58-34 in Rose Hill. Mulvane controlled Augusta from start to finish in its 53-33 win over the Lady Orioles.

Wichita Collegiate gave 4A No. 9 Andale trouble at the start, but the Lady Indians were able to come away with the 47-40 win. Maize South pulled out a 33-30 win over Clearwater. 4A No. 6 Wellington took care of Circle 53-35.

Haven dropped Halstead 64-33 behind 14 points from Hailey Davis and Ashley Rogers. Hesston needed overtime to take down 4A No. 5 Pratt 44-40. Aubrey Hoover led all scorers with 17 points for the Lady Greenbacks. Hesston’s Caylee Richardson led her team with 13 points. 3A No. 6 Hillsboro routed Kingman 45-26 behind 16 points from Krista Reimer. Sterling took care of Smoky Valley to the tune of a 51-44 win.

Medicine Lodge’s Ali Rogers led all players with 17 points in her team’s 43-36 win over Douglass. Belle Plaine made the necessary halftime adjustments to outscore Wichita Trinity 27-15 in the second half to come away with the 42-35 win. Ciarra Myers dropped 16 points for the Lady Dragons. Bluestem slid past Independent 48-42. Cheney won a low-scoring contest over Conway Springs 33-25. 3A No. 5 Garden Plain destroyed Chaparral 65-38. Sierra Hays scored 19 points in the win to lead all players.

Remington and Berean renewed their rivalry and the Lady Warriors won 55-40 on its home court behind 13 points from Mallory Zuercher. It took everything Bennington had to take down Marion 51-48.

Norwich’s Mackenzie Klaver scored 18 points and Michelle VanGieson contributed 16 more in a 63-40 win over Fairfield. Pretty Prairie took down Cunningham in a hard-fought game 26-20.

Inman walked by Little River in its 41-27 win over the Lady Redskins. Olpe steam rolled Sedgwick 66-36 behind 25 points from McDougald. Hutchinson Trinity held a 12-10 lead at halftime, but was unable to hold onto the lead and Hoisington came away with a 26-21 win.
