Cheney placed three players on the Central Plains All-League First-Team volleyball team to lead all schools. Seniors Alison Akler, Robyn Leroux and Mackenzie Orchard were the three selections for the Cardinals.

The CPL's other state qualifying team Douglass had the second-most first-team selections with two. Douglass senior Faith Gerkin and junior Shaeli Munroe were honored as first team selections. This year was the first time in Douglass school history that the Bulldogs qualified for the state tournament.

Trinity's Morgan Goscha, Belle Plaine's Annemarie Hamersky and Garden Plain's Cassidy Haukap took the other three spots on the first team.
