Buhler used a huge second half and outscored Wichita Collegiate 21-0 to win 28-21.
Crusader coach Steve Warner told Eyewitness Sports reporter Jenn Bates the key to the win was shutting down Markus Phox for Collegiate.
Phox had four catches, 159 yards and three touchdowns in the first half, but the Spartans where held scoreless in the second half, and falls to 1-1. Buhler now moves to 2-0.
In McPherson, Hays bounced back in a big way from a tough overtime loss last week to defeat the Bullpups 58-28. Hays and McPherson are now both 1-1.
