Garden City High School hosted its "Dig Pink" night on Thursday as the Lady Buffs volleyball team hosted some of it's toughest competition. Dodge City, Ulysses and Scott City all made a run at the Buffs and all four of the first matches were taken into three tight games.

The Lady Buffs faced the Lady Tigers first. Ulysses came out strong and earned the first win 25-21. Garden City was relentless following that game and took down Ulysses 25-22 in the second game. A big kill by junior Taylor Linenberger gave Garden City the win over Ulysses in three games 25-21.

The Dodge City vs. Scott City match was also a barn burner. The Lady Demons took the Lady Beavers to three games coming out on top in the end 25-21. Dodge City earned the first win 25-17 and Scott City came back in the second to take them into three games 25-23.

The Lady Beavers also fell to Garden City in three games and luck was not with them in this quad. They also took Ulysses into three close games winning the second 25-17, but the Lady Tigers emerged victorious in the final games 25-14.

In the match of the night all three games kept fans on the edge of their seats. In the end Dodge City prevailed in three games winning the final game 25-23.
