Langdon, KS - After each team coming off a loss in their opening game, both Fairfield and Pretty Prairie were hungry.
Unfortunately for Fairfield, Pretty Prairie was starving.
Rivals, the Fairfield Falcons and the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs faced off tonight on the Falcon’s field, with the Bulldogs finishing on top, 54-6.
The Bulldogs scored on their first two possessions and the Falcons answered back when senior, David MacMahon rushed up the middle.
The game quickly got out of hand as junior quarterback for the Bulldogs, Samuel Livingston rushed for four touchdowns and threw for three touchdowns to fellow classmate, Lane Detter and senior, Lane Bearce. At the half, the Bulldogs led 48-6 and seized the opportunity to end the game by marching the ball down field after receiving the ball in the third quarter.
And for Pretty Prairie head coach, C.T Young, this victory is going to help them launch forward.
“It’s a big rival. They’ve been our rivalry game for a long time so we gotta build on this one, take the positives from this, and continue to get better for next week.”
