LAWRENCE, Kan. (KWCH) -- KU wide receiver Kenyon Tabor is medically disqualified for competition this season, as he battles back injuries.

The Derby-native missed all of his freshman season with the injury.

Head Coach David Beaty said of Tabor during his April press conference, "he's one of the best recruits we've ever brought in."

KU officials tell KWCH, Tabor will remain on scholarship and will still have a role in the KU program.

In addition to Tabor's medical disqualification, Taylor Martin, Quinton McQuillan, and Jacob Bragg are leaving the KU program.
