Conner Frankamp goes one-on-one with kids at camp

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -- Conner Frankamp is back in Wichita this week, working on his reps against some smaller competition.

The former Wichita State and North High guard played one-on-one against middle school kids at the Gary Squires basketball camp.

"It's so much fun to come back and give back to these kids and especially give back to Coach Squires, " he said. "He did so much for me for my high school career, and then my college career."

While it was all fun and games at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton gym Thursday afternoon, Frankamp is still looking to play some bigger competition at the professional level.

"I'm hoping to get a summer league gig in the next few days, hopefully," he said. "It's a waiting game pretty much right now. I had a really good pro day when I was out there in LA. I thought I played pretty well. My agent has been talking to some teams and some teams from overseas, trying to find the best fit for me."
